Lapuan Kankurit, a weaving mill located in the small town of Lapua in western Finland, specializes in linen and jacquard fabrics. The linen fabric is washed on site after weaving and making up, giving it a soft handle and lively texture - but also making it impossible to iron perfectly smooth. Only the best linen yarns from long flax of European provenance are used on the looms of the company, which is now run by the fourth generation.
