The Marlene trousers impress with their casual, comfortable cut, flatter the figure and add casual elegance to any outfit. Here they come in a classic style with a high waistband and straight, wide leg, but without a crease. Additional vertical dividing seams at the side give them a distinctive look and a good fit. The fine, softly draping wool fabric in a melange look comes from the renowned Italian textile manufacturer Marzotto and is made from pure new wool from certified organic animal husbandry. The trousers feature belt loops, two side pockets set into the dividing seams and a blind back pocket. They are fastened with a zipper and button.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
