Ladies turtleneck sweater alpaca

An extremely cuddly companion for the cool season: made of pure baby alpaca. Alpaca hair is warming and light, skin-friendly and extremely supple. Here it comes in a particularly fine quality. Baby alpaca is the hair of young animals from the first shearing, but also the hair of adult alpacas, when its fiber fineness is between 20.1 and 23 microns. So even wool-sensitive people will feel completely comfortable in this sweater. The loose fit with a slightly boxy cut also contributes to the wearing comfort. The hem is slit and worked longer in the back than in the front. Ribbed knit cuffs finish off the neck, sleeves and torso, and the rib knit is continued on the sleeves to the shoulder.

On the western tip of the Breton peninsula lies the department of Finistère. According to the Roman name, this is the end of the earth. For the Bretons, on the other hand, it is “Penn ar Bed”, the beginning of the world – a reading that does far more justice to the brand “Les Racines du Ciel” (i. e., the roots of heaven). Besides aiming at high-quality standards, Les Racines du Ciel’s declared entrepreneurial goal is to promote artisanal traditions and products and thus preserve jobs in impoverished rural areas. They choose their production locations correspondingly.
