The fabric of these pants is pleasant to the skin, breathable and easy to wear. It is made of silky Lyocell, which is cool against the skin, and firm, cooling linen, which also provides a striking structure. In keeping with the material, the fabric shows a subtle sheen and has a slightly grainy feel. Lanius makes the straight-cut trousers with a zipper, trouser hook and button and equips them with two side pockets and - as a visual detail - two blind back pockets.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
