Ladies trousers poplin

With their straight, wide and slightly cropped leg, these trousers are a comfortable and casual companion that can be combined in a variety of ways. Lanius uses skin-friendly, organically grown cotton and a small amount of elastane in the fabric to create a durable cotton poplin, a plain weave fabric that is densely woven but still fine and soft. The mid-rise cut with an elasticated waistband at the back provides additional comfort and makes it easy to put on and take off. The fastening-free trousers are equipped with two side pockets that can hold small items for everyday use.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
