Ladies thermal long jacket

Winter can come with this lightweight, yet well warming long jacket. The water-repellent outer material is a ripstop fabric made from recycled polyester. It is lightweight, but tear-resistant, because it is woven in a special technique: In this process, stronger threads are repeatedly integrated into the otherwise thin fabric - you can see it in the slight "rake box" structure. Underneath lies a puffy, warming filling made from recycled PET bottles. Thanks to its "multi-shape structures", it has superior heat retention. The smooth, easy-to-wear lining is made of recycled polyamide. The long jacket closes by two-way zipper with narrow, underlaid placket. Knit cuffs keep out the wind. Drawstrings in the hood and at waist level allow for width adjustment. Two side pockets and four inside pockets - two of them with zipper and two with Velcro - hold small items of daily use.

Back in 1969, Jørgen Mørup and his father founded a small textile company in the Danish town of Herning and already started to focus on the subject of sustainability. Today, Knowledge Cotton Apparel stands for casual, sporty menswear, usually made from GOTS-certified organic cotton or "Happy Sheep Wool". The label also works with recycled PET bottles, which it shreds, melts down and spins into yarn to make a durable, water-repellent fabric for jackets.
