Ladies' TENCEL™ trousers

These casual Marlene-style trousers are designed with comfort in mind. This is partly due to their comfortable fit with a straight, wide leg and elasticated waistband and partly due to the material used. The jersey is made from Lyocell (TENCEL™), a biodegradable regenerated fibre made from wood from certified and controlled sources, which is characterized by its high strength and smooth, silky-soft surface. As a result, the fabric is particularly kind to the skin, has a supple feel and a flowing drape. A small amount of elastane gives it more elasticity and shape retention. The fastening-free trousers have an indicated fly, two pockets set into the side seam and shaping darts on the back of the trousers. The forward-facing side seams visually slim the silhouette.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.

Staining of light-coloured clothing, furniture and other objects is possible.
