Ladies sweater cable knit

This sweater combines soft and warming alpaca hair with Pima cotton, an exceptionally long-staple cotton that is also known as the "silk of South America" thanks to its smooth fibers. This alliance of materials makes the sweater particularly easy to wear, while at the same time making the fabric a bit more compact and insensitive. The sweater features a beautiful melange effect as well as a traditional cable knit pattern on the front and on the tops of the sleeves. Wide ribbed knit cuffs finish off the neck, sleeves and torso.

On the western tip of the Breton peninsula lies the department of Finistère. According to the Roman name, this is the end of the earth. For the Bretons, on the other hand, it is “Penn ar Bed”, the beginning of the world – a reading that does far more justice to the brand “Les Racines du Ciel” (i. e., the roots of heaven). Nathalie Goyette and Christian Tournafol founded the Quimper-based brand. The two have been producing elegant, feminine and timeless women’s fashion since 2005. Besides aiming at high-quality standards, Les Racines du Ciel’s declared entrepreneurial goal is to promote artisanal traditions and products and thus preserve jobs in impoverished rural areas. They choose their production locations correspondingly.
