Ladies stand-up collar sweater

Lanius makes this smooth right-knit sweater from warming merino wool from certified organic livestock. Among the domestic sheep breeds, the wool of merino sheep is the softest with a fiber fineness of 16.5 to 24 microns. It is also breathable, temperature balancing and naturally dirt and water repellent. Since it does not scratch the skin, even wool-sensitive people feel completely comfortable in merino wool. But not only the special material, but also its rather boxy, overcut shape give the sweater a high wearing comfort. It is equipped with stand-up collar and ribbed knit cuffs and torso.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
