Ladies silk dress print

Hardly any other fabric has such a pleasant feel and is as soft, flowing and supple against the skin as silk. And even if it may not appear so at first glance, silk is extremely hard-wearing. The fine fiber is also particularly light, breathable and temperature-regulating - making it the ideal material for a summer dress like this one, made from pure silk. The delicately shimmering fabric features a sophisticated batik pattern - hand-dyed with indigo dyes, each dress is unique. The straight cut and inset side panels under the sleeves give the dress plenty of freedom of movement and a comfortable fit, while the silk fabric drapes softly over the body, creating a flattering silhouette.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.

Staining of light-coloured clothing, furniture and other objects is possible.
