Ladies silk dress patterned

This strikingly patterned silk dress impresses with its light, airy crêpe georgette fabric, which feels pleasant against the skin. The crêpe georgette gives the dress a subtle structure and ensures an elegant drape. The cut is clear yet sophisticated: with three-quarter length sleeves, shaping darts for a good figure and a deep V-neckline. The bold colors of the fabric, combined with the subtle vertical lines of the design, create a batik-like pattern similar to shibori. Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique that creates such patterns by folding, wrapping and pressing the fabric. The unlined and fastening-free dress creates a harmonious and stylish look, both in everyday life and for special occasions.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
