Ladies Marlene Pants

The Marlene pant with its straight cut and wide leg has long been a classic in women's fashion. Lanius makes them just like this, in a soft virgin wool fabric with a bit of elastane added for comfort and shape retention. On the front, stitched tucks run the entire length of the leg, visually slimming the silhouette. The unlined pants close with a zipper and button. It is equipped with two side pockets and a blind back pocket. The wool used comes from certified organic animal husbandry.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
