Ladies leather sandal

Simply slip them on and step into summer with light feet! This leather sandal is an incredibly airy and comfortable companion, as the upper and lining are made from Werbio nubuck leather, which is specially vegetable-tanned for Werner. The soft hollow straps are particularly snug on the foot and provide the necessary support without leaving pressure marks. Wearing comfort is further enhanced by the padded, anatomically shaped insole made from soft Werbio nubuck leather. The profiled rubber outsole provides the necessary grip, even on slippery surfaces.

Two aspects characterise Werner shoes: natural leathers – if in any way possible chrome-free and vegetable tanned – and a comfortable feel thanks to tried and tested fittings. The family business founded in 1911 is, after all, still in line with its traditional claim to produce beautiful and good shoes. What once began with sturdy work and hiking boots developed into a range comprising chic après-ski boots in the 1970s and 80s and progressed up to the current collection of (casual) shoes for men and women, some sporty, some rather elegant. Werner also actively follows new developments in the leather market. For instance, some shoes feature a lining made of olive leather®. In the tannery, they use olive leaves (residues that accumulate during the annual pruning of the trees), the resulting leather is very skin-friendly. For many years, Werner shoes were made at the company’s founding place in Pirmasens. Today the “quilters” and “nippers” work in south-eastern Europe. The raw materials come from Germany and the neighbouring European countries –in unvaryingly guaranteed high quality –, keeping transport distances as short as possible.
