A favorite piece for the summer: light and airy, comfortable and versatile - whether worn with trousers or a skirt, on its own or under a blazer. The choice of material is also perfectly suited to the warm season. Les Racines du Ciel uses a combination of 70 percent breathable, cooling linen and 30 percent skin-friendly, organically grown cotton. The fine knitted fabric is slightly transparent and stretchy, which makes it even more comfortable to wear. The knitted top has wide straps and a V-neckline and is cut high at the neck. Its loose fit ensures a casual fit that gently skims the figure.

On the western tip of the Breton peninsula lies the department of Finistère. According to the Roman name, this is the end of the earth. For the Bretons, on the other hand, it is “Penn ar Bed”, the beginning of the world – a reading that does far more justice to the brand “Les Racines du Ciel” (i. e., the roots of heaven). Nathalie Goyette and Christian Tournafol founded the Quimper-based brand. The two have been producing elegant, feminine and timeless women’s fashion since 2005. Besides aiming at high-quality standards, Les Racines du Ciel’s declared entrepreneurial goal is to promote artisanal traditions and products and thus preserve jobs in impoverished rural areas. They choose their production locations correspondingly.
