This cap is designed in the style of an aviator's cap, as it was worn in aviation at the beginning of the 20th century - especially by those pilots who covered longer distances in the open cockpit and were therefore particularly exposed to wind, cold and precipitation. Here it does not come in the classic fur form, but as a modern interpretation of a knitted cap made entirely of recycled wool. With its head-hugging shape that extends to the nape of the neck, the turned-up front panel and the extended side flaps, it protects the entire head, including the neck and ears, from crisp cold and icy winds. The ear flaps can be tied either under the chin or - when folded up - on the head by means of a tie band.
