Ladies knit shirt

This knitted shirt is kind to the skin and breathable, making it ideal for warm spring and summer days. Rifò makes it from a cotton yarn that is half organically grown and half recycled, resulting in a beautiful melange shade. Thanks to the airy piqué knit, which is light against the skin, the feel is slightly grainy on the outside. However, the shirt feels pleasantly smooth on the inside. The loose fit also makes it comfortable to wear. Fine rib-knit cuffs on the neck, sleeves and body round off the design.

The fashion label Rifò was founded in 2017 by Niccolò Cipriani as a start-up in Prato, Tuscany, with the mission of counteracting overproduction in the clothing industry: with timeless, circular fashion that consists of a high proportion of high-quality recycled natural fibers. Rifò is the Tuscan inflection of the Italian verb "rifare", which means "to renew" or "to do again", and this is precisely the principle of the Italian label: to create something new from something old. The garments and accessories consist of at least 50 percent recycled natural fibers, plus a proportion of newly produced natural materials. The recycled fibers are obtained on the one hand from pre-consumer textiles (waste from the textile industry) and on the other from post-consumer textiles (used clothing donations). Rifò produces in the region in order to keep production routes as short as possible and to promote the local economy. The yarn and fabric suppliers with whom the fashion label works are mainly located in the textile district of Prato.
