Ladies knit pants

Lanius manufactures these closureless knit pants from warming merino wool from certified organic animal husbandry. Among the domestic sheep breeds, the wool of merino sheep is the softest with a fiber fineness of 16.5 to 24 microns. It is also breathable, temperature balancing and naturally dirt and water repellent. Since it does not scratch the skin, even wool-sensitive people feel completely comfortable in merino wool. And not only the supple material, also their comfortable fit with wide leg and elastic waistband make these pants the ideal companion for leisure, mobile work and a cozy evening on the sofa. It is equipped with ribbed knit cuffs at the leg end and a patch back pocket.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
