Ladies dress print

Lanius makes this knee-length dress from pure lyocell (TENCEL™), a biodegradable regenerated fibre obtained from wood that comes from certified and controlled sources and is characterized by a smooth, silky-soft surface. The fabric is particularly comfortable to wear, has a supple feel and a flowing drape. The loose fit, which drapes softly over the body, also contributes to the latter. The sleeves are slightly ruffled at the shoulder and at the buttoned cuffs, which emphasizes the feminine character and gives the dress even more freedom of movement. The deep V-neckline accentuates the décolleté and visually stretches the silhouette. And the abstract print pattern gives the dress a lively and dynamic look.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
