Ladies coat padded

Winter can come with this over-knee-length coat. It is particularly lightweight yet warm, weatherproof and breathable. The outer fabric and lining are made from recycled polyester. The insulating filling is a vegan down alternative, also made from recycled polyester. And because it is quilted with chambers, it stays in place permanently. The two-way zipper can be closed high. Above it is a wind-repellent panel that is closed with metal press studs. The detachable hood has a wide, button-fastening strap that provides additional protection against the cold and wind. Two side pockets offer space for small everyday items. Other well thought-out details include the wind-repellent elasticated cuffs and the two sewn-in straps on the inside, which allow the jacket to be worn on the back like a rucksack when not fastened. The coat can be zipped open on both sides, which provides greater freedom of movement when cycling, for example.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
