Ladies Chelsea Boot

The Chelsea boot is characterized by its over-the-ankle shape and the rubber inserts on the sides: this is the defining feature of a Chelsea, giving the shoe its elasticity and comfort and ensuring a comfortable fit even after hours of wear. This and the good finish on the ankle are responsible for the fact that this type of shoe has long since established itself as a classic. The Chelsea was invented in the 1830s by J. S. Hall, Queen Victoria's shoemaker, and the Beatles made it even more popular in the 1960s, although they preferred a more pointed Chelsea with a curved heel. This women's model is Goodyear welted, as is usual at Carlos Santos. The leather is hand-polished with black shoe wax.

The shoes are made on a narrow last. Therefore, it is better to choose half a size larger than usual.
