Ladies cardigan wool cotton

This comfortable troy-style cardigan is made of almost equal parts warming new wool and skin-friendly cotton. Lanius uses a material combination of certified organic cotton and virgin wool from certified organic animal husbandry. The cardigan is patent-knitted, so the knit is voluminous, three-dimensional and airy at the same time. The lengthwise and diagonally knitted rows on the sleeves create a striking pattern. The trouser collar and sleeve cuffs are rib-knitted. The cardigan fastens with a two-way zipper.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
