Ladies Cardigan Stripes

Closureless, rather short-cut cardigan that gets a lively look from the different widths of block stripes in pastel shades. It also has a convincing feel: it consists of 89% alpaca hair, which gives it an incredibly soft feel. Added to this is some polyamide for the sake of durability and shape retention. The voluminous, slightly transparent knit is pleasantly light and airy on the skin. The temperature-balancing properties of the alpaca hair also ensure that the cardigan is still comfortable to wear even when temperatures rise.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
