Ladies bouclé coat

Bouclé is a fabric that is woven from irregular yarns of different thicknesses. This gives it a distinctive textured surface with a pleasantly non-slip and soft feel. Lanius uses a particularly voluminous bouclé for this double-breasted coat, which is made from pure new wool from certified organic animal husbandry. A wonderfully warm companion for crisp, cold winter days. The wide overlap of the fabric panels at the front increases the warmth function even further. The viscose lining makes it comfortable to wear and easy to put on and take off. Two pockets inserted horizontally into the dividing seam can hold small items for everyday use. Thanks to its simple design, the coat can be combined in a variety of ways - whether with elegant or sporty outfits.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
