Ladies ankle boot

The Chelsea boot, with its over-ankle shape and rubber inserts on the sides that give the shoe elasticity and comfort, sits comfortably on the foot even after hours of wear. Punto Pigro has combined the classic Chelsea shape in this ankle boot with a step-cushioning crepe sole made of natural rubber. The distinctive four-inch heel is topped with an abrasion-resistant Vibram® plate for durability. The ankle boot is fully lined with cowhide leather, and the insole is padded.

Montegranaro in the Marche region, an important location for Italian shoe manufacturing, is home to the relatively young Punto Pigro label. Founded in 2000, it took the traditional footwear craft of the Secchiaris (their family had been active in the industry since 1975) and added new ideas and influences. For example, part of Punto Pigro’s collection features a special seam that goes back to the moccasins of the native inhabitants of North America. What’s more, the brand focuses on high-quality leathers, traditional handicrafts and a casual style in the design of its models.
