That undyed alpaca hair is anything but monotonous, but rather can also be combined well playfully, this sweater shows. Two colors - light gray and dark gray - are enough to create a vibrant color change running across the sleeves and torso. The alpaca hair used is baby alpaca. This is the name given to the hair of young animals from the first shearing, but also to the hair of adult alpacas when its fiber fineness is between 20.1 and 23 microns, i.e. it is extremely fine. In terms of softness and suppleness, it is once again a step up from normal alpaca hair. The sweater is kept slightly longer at the back than in the front.
