These machine-made drinking glasses come from the oldest still producing French glassworks in the east of the country. The glasses are very stable – a single gust of wind will not carry them off the garden table. Their thick walls also have the advantage that drinks, whether chilled or heated, maintain their temperature for longer, while the glass body agreeably slowly conducts the temperature to your hand.
