From the same incredibly soft and supple, yet insensitive cowhide as the multifunction wallet finished Ackermann also this key wallet. The pleasantly warm and almost glove-soft feel of the leather owes itself to the use of the best cow nappa. It shows its natural surface with the grain, the uppermost layer of the leather, which is neither sprayed with color nor covered, so that the natural characteristics of the skin are fully shown to advantage. The leather is processed unlined, it is exceptionally durable and insensitive. Like the big sister, the key wallet is by means of flap to close by push button, another compartment on its back is secured by zipper.

Since the 1980s, the leather manufacturer Ackermann has stood for handcrafted and resource-conserving production. Ackermann uses exclusively high-quality leathers tanned in German or European tanneries with minerals, vegetable substances or ingredients of animal origin (for example, fish oil for tanning deerskin). Beate Sedlacek and Karl-Henning Hohmann create the designs – the Bauhaus says hello – primarily based on an idea of functionality while reflecting on the characteristics of the respective leather and its surface. The resulting design is timeless, dispenses with superfluous details and features a clear cut in which every seam has its functional artisanal justification. Therefore, the leather can show all its strengths, including its visual and haptic qualities. Experienced sewists implement the designs in the best bag-making manner. Ackermann manufactures most of the articles at its headquarters in Lüneburg and has certain product lines made in a Czech partner company.
