Kent hairbrush boar bristle light
General Information
The trim of soft boar bristles is suitable for fine, thin, straight hair, as well as for hair of short to medium length. With its wide handle, the brush fits comfortably in the hand.
Fine Bristles for Fine Hair.
This Kent hairbrush has light coloured, soft boar bristles and is good for fine, thin, smooth hair and for short to medium length hair. The pure boar bristles stimulate the scalp, cleanse the hair, remove excess skin fat in the scalp and brush it out to the dry hair ends. Brushing with these fine natural bristles produces hair with a natural sheen and helps to prevent split ends. After being inserting in the brush the bristles are checked by hand and trimmed. The wood for the body of the brush is from English forest stands which are reforested by the Forestry Commission. You will find that the wide handle sits well in the hand.
Hair Brushes from Kent.
A good hair brush gently smooths and untangles the hair, distributing the natural grease that accumulates at the root of the hair up to the ends. The hair is glossy, and the ends don’t split so easily. The best way to care for the hair is to brush it with natural bristles: with a structure that resembles the hair. Kent & Sons fashions most of their brushes from just such natural bristles. And they do it as they always have, by hand, including the insertion of the bristles.
The brush maker. By appointment.
Kent & Sons seem to be the quintessential English brush maker. The worldwide renown of their brushes began in 1777, when the firm was founded, even without a distribution network at the time. That speaks for the extraordinary quality of the brushes and for the fact that English officers packed Kent brushes in their luggage for remote deployments in the British Empire.
The quality of the brushes is beyond question. In addition to the experienced brush makers they employ, Kent & Sons maintains contact internationally with the best raw material suppliers. Their purchasing agents are among the most critical in the business, a distinction we can appreciate. It is no wonder that in the course of the company's history Kent has been named nine times purveyor to the court, a privilege they enjoy until today.
The Brush Maker. By Appointment
Kent & Sons is the quintessential English brush maker. Founded in 1777, the worldwide distribution of Kent brushes began long before a distribution network was established for them, due as much to the outstanding quality of the brushes as to the fact that English officers carried Kent brushes in their luggage at every duty station in the British Empire, no matter how remote.
The quality of the brushes is beyond reproach. Not only has Kent always employed skilled brushmakers, it also maintains excellent worldwide relationships with the suppliers of the best trim materials, and Kent's buyers (they have that in common with ours) are among the most critical in their profession. No wonder Kent has been named a Royal Court supplier nine times in the course of the company's history - and remains so to this day.
