Japanese pointed blade hoe long
General Information
Tilling the soil in Japanese
The blade of this Japanese garden hoe is forged from highly hardened (HRC 58) carbon steel and is as thin as it is sharp at the lower end, yet very tough and durable. The handle is made from the wood of the mock chestnut, which provides a particularly pliable and light wood: Neither is there any risk of breakage, nor does the handle noticeably weigh anything. This allows energy-saving work even over longer periods - and higher ranges, because we offer the hoe with a longer handle than usual in Japan.

Blade 16 x 6.5 cm. Total length 1.2 m. Weight 920 g.
?With its narrow, pointed shape , polished on both sides, the hardened carbon steel blade (HRC 58) of this Japanese garden hoe resembles a ploughshare. It can be used in densely planted beds for weeding, chopping and loosening the earth. Small planting holes and furrows can be prepared with its pointed nose. The handle is made of light, unbreakable chinkapin wood, which is why we can offer the hoe with a longer handle than is usual in Japan.
