    General Information

    Universally applicable

The "Hori-Hori" is a ubiquitous tool for many purposes in Japanese gardens: the pointed, slightly curved shape of the knife blade makes it possible to plant flower bulbs, for example, or to transplant potted and outdoor plants. The width of the blade enables easy digging work. You can even measure the planting depth, as a scale in centimetre and inch increments is conveniently provided on the blade. Sharpened on both sides: the smooth side of the blade makes it easier to penetrate the soil, while the serrated side allows you to divide shrub clumps and cut roots.
