Japanese flower and household scissors

In Japan, these shears are primarily used for harvesting work; however, they can also be used to cut back wilted plants in the perennial bed, harvest currants or cut flowers. The fact that these scissors are made for long-term professional use can be seen from the solid plastic dampers, which cushion the cutting movement and allow fatigue-free work. The pointed blade made of Japanese tool steel is particularly sharp. An additional hard chrome plating protects against rust and at the same time has a dirt-repellent effect. The blade also cuts other materials (paper, cardboard, foils) without any problems, which is why we unreservedly recommend the scissors as good household scissors as well.

The development of tools does not simply follow an abstract-functional principle, but is often linked to the entire worldview and self-image of an era or region. This is particularly evident in the tools of a completely different cultural sphere: the products of the ancient Japanese blacksmith's craft are much admired in our country, because they still live entirely from the deep historical and spiritual roots of pre-modern Japanese culture.
