Italian kettle Fjord

A kettle in a class of its own: with its balanced surface-to-volume ratio and concealed 2,000-watt heating element, this model quickly brings water to a boil. The kettle itself is made entirely of stainless steel and comes complete with an anti-scale filter (also made of stainless steel). So during the boiling process, not a drop of water comes into contact with plastic. The beautifully designed kettle is manufactured on the Italian side of Lake Maggiore. The manufacturing company has specialized in processing stainless steel since the early 1960s. Initially, they manufactured in the main cookware and kitchen utensils - so it was only a small step to the first tea kettle.

Our kettles have a very traditional shape for good reason: they have to heat large quantities of water quickly and energy-efficiently. This means for their body shape: little upper surface, but a large base area, because over the bottom surface (as desired) the heat flows in, but over the surface it (undesirably) radiates out again. Otherwise: high-set spout, so that the bubbling water can not splash out, and a firm handle on which the kettle can be held securely.
