Italian copper kettle

At first, there was only the copper kettle inherited from my great-aunt, estimated to be 100 years old and weathered by verdigris. Perhaps it was no longer quite fit for purpose, but nevertheless - or perhaps precisely because of this - it was absolutely worth keeping. Without further ado, our product manager for the kitchen range turned the heirloom into a sample and sent the kettle on its way to Italy. The renowned copper specialists at Cu Artigiana, based near Naples, received the package addressed to them and set about designing a copper kettle based on the model they had just received. Although the great-aunt's kettle did not return from Italy, we can offer you a faithful replica here. Our copper kettle is tin-plated on the inside and has a movable handle with a wooden grip. A design advantage that not only makes the kettle easier to fill; the handle, which is folded away to the side, is also not heated so quickly on the stove by the steam rising from the flute. Yes, indeed: this copper kettle is a flute kettle. Of course it is!
