Sponges made of cellulose are much gentler to anything that needs to be washed and cleaned with them than sponges made of synthetic fiber. We offer them in a double pack, in a large, easy-grip version, so they can be used for every conceivable area of the home. If the sponges are too big for you, you can simply cut them in half with scissors. The sponges are very absorbent and insensitive to mild acids, alkalis, oil and gasoline.
As the main component of plant cell walls (mass fraction about 50%), cellulose is the most abundant biomolecule. Since it is obtained purely from plant matter, our household sponge from it is allowed to compost at the end of the product life.
