By cutting the actual numbers out of the metal, the designer brings about an interesting effect: what you see is what you don’t get. The distance to the wall creates a compelling shadow play and makes the numbers clearly visible even without backlighting. It’s easy to mount the rectangles next to one another or even underneath each other without mismatch. Erik Spiekermann, the old master of graphic design, renowned typographer and font inventor, designed this product; it is exclusively available from MAGAZIN. Laser-cut from the steel plate, colour-coated or galvanised, each number comes with four threaded holes and four screws. The delivery includes fastening material, assembly instructions and drilling template. You may choose from 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 as well as A and B. The price refers to one plate (with one digit or letter).
