Herrnhut star 40 cm

The famous, with 25 rays impressive Advent star of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine is already for many years in our range and enjoys an unbroken great demand - one more reason to offer it additionally in a slightly smaller version of 40 cm in diameter. Like his big brother, this smaller star can shine with the help of a maximum of 40 watts incandescent lamp, but he also contributes unlit to an atmospheric atmosphere.

The star is manufactured at Herrnhuter Sterne GmbH - formerly the "Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine", a religious community of Moravian immigrants, which named itself after the East Saxon community of Herrnhut, founded by its members in 1722. Their influence on Christian life in Germany was considerable: even the custom, still widespread today in Saxony and Hesse, to assemble a large star on the first Sunday of Advent in the family circle, whose light shines until Christmas, goes back to them.

The star has always been a "good thing" in our sense, on which we could even improve a detail: The electrification of the Herrnhuter Sterne is done via a textile-sheathed cable. You can order separately the electrification for indoor use; it fits both the large and small stars.
