SCHMIEGER is a universally applicable headboard and backrest. The slats are made of untreated, velvety sanded ash, a wood known for its flexibility. Under load, they give in smoothly and somewhat bouncily. The slats react to your body’s pressure when leaning against them and offer pleasant comfort. They provide support for pillows and a place for airing blankets. With its simple design and materials, SCHMIEGER fits in discreetly and complements beds and couches of all kinds. When you use it as a headboard, it matches beds in almost any width: lateral overhang in any form suits the design. We recommend SCHMIEGER for narrow single beds, wide double beds, and especially for two models from our MAGAZIN assortment: the beds GURTBETT and SIMPLON. In combination with couches that stand lengthwise against the wall – such as the stackable couch STAPLER – SCHMIEGER excels as a comfort-giving backrest. SCHMIEGER is easy to assemble via mounting the two metal brackets on the wall; we include the necessary screws and dowels in the delivery.
