Hanging chair cotton

The principle of the hammock - transferred to a simple piece of seating furniture. In its wide, fan-shaped hollow made of tightly woven fabric, the hanging chair supports the person sitting in it, floating in the room and thus enabling a relaxing, almost weightless sitting experience. It can be installed under the ceiling in the living room, but the hanging chair can also be used outdoors. The fabric is woven using a special endless weaving technique, in which a fixed number of continuous cotton threads are woven together in such a way that there are no annoying knots or loose edge threads in the fabric and each individual thread is firmly connected to the carrier rope. A fabric panel woven in this way is extremely tear-resistant and ensures an even load distribution; its material opulence can be felt at first touch. The wooden fixing rod prevents the mat from slipping together, while the swivel on the snap hook - both made of galvanized steel and therefore robust - allows the height of the hanging chair to be adjusted. The suspension rope is made of synthetic material for good reason. The Austrian manufacturer uses a UV and weather-resistant polyester blend that is abrasion-proof and guarantees long-term durability.

And this from the ground up, because the company has a remarkable vertical range of manufacture: only the raw material is purchased, i.e. yarn, wood and the metal fittings. All other work steps are carried out in the in-house twisting, weaving, carpentry and metal workshop - on partially self-developed and built milling and planing machines, glue presses and special looms.
