Handkerchief set unisex

All the trend of the time are cloth handkerchiefs, but until now you could usually only choose between sometimes very large men's handkerchiefs and small women's handkerchiefs, with often not at all gender-neutral design. If handkerchiefs can still be found on the market at all, because only a few still produce cloth handkerchiefs at all - even more rarely in long-lasting quality.
From Pellens & Loick come these rather neutral handkerchiefs with dark or light patterns (checkered and striped). We offer them conveniently in a set of three handkerchiefs. For today's men's pants or women's bags also very practical is their format, which is with 30 × 30 cm large enough for the known purpose, and yet small enough to fit even in the pocket of modern pants (which are now smaller and tighter cut than in the past) and not bulky. Made of durable cotton woven in a strong plain weave, they can withstand many washes.

Hermann Pellens and Johannes Loick had a good sense of style and unmistakable instincts for men’s fashion trends. They found inspiration for their designs in the pulsating metropolis of Berlin and identified the city’s infrastructure as offering ideal conditions. Hence, they set up a company and entered into the production of men’s accessories in 1870. They took charge of the ties’, scarves’, and handkerchiefs’ designs but soon moved the production to northern Italy. At Lake Como, silk weaving and printing had a long tradition; however, Pellens & Loick adamantly had all accessories designed at the company’s German headquarters, based in Aalen in Baden-Württemberg by then.
In 1947, Pellens & Loick set up their handkerchief production in Aalen. From weaving, cutting, and hemming to ironing, folding, and packaging, everything took place under one roof at the foot of the Swabian Jura. Still, competitive pressure from cheap products and trending soft tissues forced Pellens & Loick to give up handkerchief weaving. They looked for new business partners that would produce handkerchiefs and pocket squares according to Pellens & Loick’s high-quality standards and find them in Hungary, among other places. Meanwhile, a small Hungarian textile company produces the majority of the handkerchiefs – from fabrics woven in Europe (more precisely in Austria, Portugal and the Czech Republic), while a limited number is produced in Malaysia. Picking and packing (ironing and folding included) is still in Aalen.
