Hand soap juniper zirbe

Sagitta hand soap is one of the first products developed by the Fasching family of pharmacists in Munich. It has been produced in the gentle cold process in the old tradition since 1911. Enriched with sweet-smelling juniper oil and naturally pure, tart and spicy Swiss stone pine oil, the hand soap exudes a strong aroma that is reminiscent of a walk through the forest and lets you breathe a sigh of relief. As the hand soap is hand-soaped with inulin, it is a prebiotic soap. Inulin is a plant-based (fiber) substance that is obtained from agave, artichokes, Jerusalem artichokes or parsnips, for example, and has a positive effect on the intestinal flora when consumed. This prebiotic forms a soft film on the skin, which helps to protect it. The inulin and all other ingredients come from regional cultivation. They are obtained in an environmentally friendly way and processed gently. Sagitta hand soap is free from palm oil, heavy metals, pesticides, parabens, preservatives and other chemical additives.

When the Fasching family took over Munich's oldest pharmacy in 1909, they established a new pharmacy tradition. It developed its own line of over-the-counter medicines, which quickly became known and popular under the name Sagitta. After selling the brand to a pharmaceutical company, the family of pharmacists reacquired the rights years later and now once again manufactures body care products according to the proven formulas. However, in combination with new techniques and ingredients, the focus is now entirely on maintaining an intact human microbiome. (The human microbiome is the totality of all microorganisms that live in our bodies). To this end, the family of pharmacists is combining insights from both microbiology and conventional medicine, as well as plant-based medicine, into a concept based on prevention rather than cure. Essential to the uncomplicated but efficient products are natural ingredients and the use of probiotics, i.e. strains of bacteria naturally occurring in the human organism. As useful helpers, these "good" bacteria support our digestion, they strengthen the immune system and are part of the protective shield of our skin. In addition, Sagitta also uses prebiotics: natural sugars on which probiotics feed and which provide them with an adequate environment. This creates prebiotic and probiotic body care products that help maintain the natural microbiome and thus can strengthen the natural skin barrier.
