    General Information

All the tools a man might need.

The knife displays the array of tools typical for the gentleman’s knife – a forged and hand-honed stainless steel blade, a hardened steel cork screw, a bottle opener and a flat head screwdriver. Each knife is handmade and is quality controlled. The grips are made of the oak from old barrel staves. Depending on what side of the wood is used, the wine-colored inner side or the weathered outer side, the color and grain will appear accordingly. The knives are never identical.

    A Gentleman’s Knife From Solingen.

Franz Güde in Solingen is known for their forged kitchen knives. In order to produce this knife the firm has joined forces with another firm nearby whose spatiality for generations has been pocket knives. This knife is based on a model from 1914.
