Growing tray for microgreens

Microgreens bring crisp, invigorating freshness to your food and uplifting color to your plate. Growing these tangy, sometimes slightly pungent, vitamin- and mineral-rich greens yourself has never been more straightforward than with this micro garden for growing sprouts. All you need to green your small garden is a portion of loose seeds of, for example, radishes, cress, arugula, beetroot, mustard or broccoli. Even pea shoots are easy to grow.

A planting stone made of water-permeable Porosium® (quartz grains bound in ceramic) serves as a growing base. Place the stone in the tray made of granite ceramic (Granicium®, the dense, strong and stable ceramic material whose main ingredient is ground granite) and fill the tray with water so that the planting stone can soak up, retain moisture and provide it to the plantlets as needed. Good to know: To harvest, simply pluck the greenery from the stone. Once harvested, it can simply be cleaned under running water and replanted directly with fresh seed. Or you can use it right away to grow young plants indoors. The latter is particularly recommended at the beginning of the garden year from February, March, when tomatoes, chili, peppers & Co. are grown on the windowsill.
