Greeting card roses

In Florence, the tradition of paper production dates back to the Middle Ages. Originally printed with wooden stamps and simple ornamental designs, Florentine paper was initially used as bookbinding material and was later (and still is today) used as laminating paper for boxes or to line cupboards and drawers.

These greetings cards with four rose motifs come from the manufacturer of our beautiful Florentine papers. As a folded card (size 8.5 × 13 cm) with a matching envelope, they are suitable for plenty of rosy words, greetings and wishes. The motifs come from the manufacturer's archive, which over the decades has amassed a rich collection of prints from a wide variety of provenances.
