Cereal flakes are a tasty, nutritious and nutritious ingredient (not only) in Bircher muesli, oat cookies or patties. The hand-operated Futuria M1 cereal flaker is the appliance of choice for anyone who doesn't want to flake small quantities of cereal every day, but several times a week. Its stainless steel crushing mechanism can handle around 70 g of cereal grains per minute. You can crush oats without further pre-treatment. Wheat, rye or spelt grains, like ancient grains, should first be moistened with water in a sieve and then dried again for around five hours. Advantage: The hand crank can be attached to both sides of the wooden housing. This makes the Futuria M1 suitable for both right- and left-handed users. Its squeezing mechanism can be removed and cleaned with the enclosed cleaning brush. For hygienic reasons, it is always advisable to clean the inside of the housing thoroughly if the grain flaker is not in use for a while.

Freshly flaked, the grain loses fewer nutrients and its natural, full flavor is better preserved, as its content is not affected by ultra-high temperatures, long transport routes or intermediate storage on the supermarket shelf. At the same time, freshly flaked cereals are easier to digest, as the fatty acids contained in the cereal grain are only released shortly before consumption.
