Glasses case saddle leather

It's a bit of a feat to keep fragile contents well protected from bumps and heavier pressure inside a leather case, even for such a sturdy eyeglass case made of approximately 2.5 mm thick, sturdy cowhide. For once, the solution to this challenge lies not on the hand, but on the nose - simple, but effective: inside the case, a "nose" is riveted into the bottom. This firm leather bar, curved like the bridge of a nose, not only gives the glasses support, but above all acts as a spacer and stabilizes the case when it is closed with a cartridge pouch button. Solidly stitched, it retains its shape and contents even under heavier use. And at the same time it is spacious enough to accommodate more expansive models of (sunglasses). The steel eyelet at the transition from the case body to the closure tab allows a (carrying) strap to be attached.
