Black bean burger

For 6 burgers:
480 g black beans (tin)
2 tbsp tomato puree
2-3 tsp BBQ seasoning
1 organic egg (size M)
100 g fine rolled oats
6 gherkins
1 zucchini
6 burger buns
2 handfuls of rocket

  • For the patties, drain the black beans and mash them in a bowl with a potato masher or fork.
  • Add the tomato puree, BBQ seasoning, egg and oat flakes to the beans and knead well with your hands. Form 6 patties from the mixture with wet hands.
  • Grill the patties on both sides for about 5 minutes until they are nice and crispy on the outside
  • Cut the cucumber lengthways into thin slices. Cut the zucchini into strips with a peeler and cook on the grill.
  • Toast the burger buns briefly on the grill and top with the patties and the remaining ingredients as desired.
