The principle is simple: inside an opulent, impressively heavy cast iron pot is a roll of paper soaked in wax. A toilet paper roll, to be exact, which can be ignited in no time by means of the enclosed ignition aids. It takes about two to four hours for the waxed paper to burn down completely, depending on the current wind and weather conditions. The simply beautiful, cast iron fire pot is made in an iron foundry in East Frisia and comes with a matching, solid lid that can be placed firmly on top to extinguish the flame (and protect it from dirt inside).
Always place this garden torch on solid ground, not on the table. Use outdoors only. Replacement lighting aids you get from us under the item number 50350, waxed paper rolls you can easily make yourself from toilet paper rolls and wax remnants.

Fire pot and lid made of cast iron (material thickness approx. 8 mm). Colour black. Ø 14.3 cm, height with lid 15.5 cm (without lid 11.5 cm). Weight 4.4 kg (with wax roll 5.1 kg). The scope of delivery includes a wax roll and two lighting aids. You can insert a standard stainless steel rod (Ø 12 mm) into the base of the fire pot to raise the torch in the garden. We recommend a rod length of approx. 1.5 m for this purpose.
