Garden shears classic

These bypass shears have several advantages, and all of them contribute to a fatigue free use. To begin with, the aluminium handle significantly minimises their weight. Then, the cutting head is angled at 15° to the handle. This angle is an ergonomic measure which reduces the danger of twisting the wrist. Next, between the usual open and closed positions, these pruning shears have a third, half-open position: the cutting route is bisected, an advantage particularly for the repetitive pruning of thinner branches. Then, there is the deep juice groove in the anvil blade: in the course of a longer session of pruning, it ensures that the blades don't become sticky and that the cut stays clean. And finally, thanks to the forged oil reservoir the blades are effortlessly oiled without the requirement to take the shears apart.
