Garden ball for hanging

Like a hanging basket, yes, but so much more charming and versatile for planting - that's our garden sphere. In England, this type of planter is also known by the apt name "hanging basket". Only natural materials can be used for planting. Our recommendation: Before you start planting, place a piece of burlap or coconut fleece at the bottom of your garden sphere. If available, you can also use some fir branches or pieces of moss to decorate it. Then fill with good potting soil, possibly mixed with some expanded clay as a water reservoir.

You are completely free to choose your own plants. In spring, a colorful mixture of bulbs looks very nice, such as snowdrops, small daffodils or perhaps checkerboard flowers. In the warmer months, a combination of hanging and upright summer flowers is ideal, and in the darker months, cyclamen, broom heather, chrysanthemums and the like add color to the bare branches of your garden trees. And if you are still looking for a cat-proof bird bath to install at height? The garden ball can even be "repurposed" for this purpose. Simply place a discarded soup plate of a suitable size in the basket and fill it up regularly with clean drinking water. Good to know: As our garden ball is made of forged and unpainted iron, it will soon develop a patina outdoors.
