Frankincense ointment

Man has been taking advantage of the multi-layered effectiveness of complex essential oils for thousands of years. Especially in aromatherapy, the fragrant essences play an important role and each*r knows from personal experience how easily scents can trigger memories and feelings in us. Depending on the type and composition of the essential oils, sometimes a harmonizing, balancing component can be in the foreground, sometimes it is the stimulating and invigorating. In its aroma cosmetics series, the natural cosmetics manufacturer Bergland therefore combines the caring effect of natural plant oils with the beneficial effect of natural essential oils. This traditional incense balm, for example, the essential oils of frankincense and wintergreen give an intense green-balsamic scent. The resin of the frankincense tree (Boswellia), also known as olibanum, has been extracted since ancient times and is used primarily for incense because of its fine, balsamic aroma. In traditional Indian and Arabic naturopathy, it is also popular for joint complaints. Wintergreen unfolds a soothing-relaxing warmth during massage and cares for the skin, especially in combination with calendula oil, olive oil and shea butter (all from controlled organic cultivation). In combination with a relaxing massage, the balm is especially pleasant for tense muscles. For this, apply the frankincense balm on stressed areas of the body, such as the back, shoulders or knees, and massage.
